Beetroot sabzi

Whenever we talk about healthy eating beetroot comes first in our mind. If you want to eat something healthy and tasty you must try this ‘Beetroot Sabzi’. This sabzi is also known as beetroot poriyal. We mostly use beetroot in a salad. We can also eat beetroot slices as a salad.
Beetroot is a sweet and crunchy root vegetable with lots of health benefits. A rich source of iron, calcium, and minerals. Beetroot is very low in calories and packed with the goodness of anti-oxidants.
It is good for our bodies. Most of the people don’t like to eat beetroot. Beetroot sabzi is the best option for those people. Diet conscious people can also eat beetroot in a tasty way.
Beetroot Sabzi is one of the beetroot recipes that contain fewer spices. I have made it by using very little oil and spices because it’s tastes best with minimum spices.
Usually, kids don’t like to eat beetroot. You can make these beetroot recipes for your kids. They will start liking beetroot.

Ingredients for beetroot sabzi:-

  • 2 beetroot chopped,
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic,
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds,
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds,
  • 1 teaspoon  red chili powder,
  • 1 teaspoon  turmeric powder,
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander.
  • Oil as per requirement, Salt to taste.

How to make this yummy beetroot sabzi/ beetroot poriyal :


1] Heat oil in a nonstick pan.

2] Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds and let it crackle.

3] Then add chopped garlic and saute for about half min.

4] Now add turmeric powder and red chili powder and saute for 30 sec.

5] Add the beetroot and salt in the pan and mix well.

6] Add  ¼ cup of water mix well.

7] Cover the pan with a lid and cook for 10 minutes.

8] Last add coriander. 

9] Your beetroot sabzi is ready to eat. Serve hot with roti.


Note:-


you can add more spices if you want.

Palak Tikki

Rain is season of love…
 Rain is season of friendship.
And for foodie people rain is season of eating different type of snacks.
So today im going to share one snack recipe from my mom’s kitchen.

          
                                                   

Ingredients:-

15-20 leaves of spinach,
2-3 boiled potatoes,
1 finely chopped onion,
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste,
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
Gram flour and corn flour (as per requirement),
Salt ,
Oil,
½ cup of packed chopped coriander.

Procedure:-

1] chop spinach leaves finely.
2]Smash boil potatoes.
2]Take potatoes in one bowl.
3]Then add spinach leaves ,onion, ginger-garlic, Red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt to it and mix it well.

4] Now add gram flour and corn flour till the tikki set.
5]After making several tikkis shallow fry it in pan till both sides of tikki get golden brown.

6] Serve the tikkis with tomato ketch up.

Watermelon Ice Cream Cake

So, here I present you with a delicious and super-simple recipe of watermelon ice-cream cake to treat your guests within minutes.

well, the juicy watermelons can be seen all over in the market during summers, the round, plump and enticing watermelons catch the attraction of everyone with ease. Yes, they are incredibly refreshing on those hot summer days. But what if you have a desire to eat watermelons in rainy seasons?

Ingredients you will need:

  • 50 grams Pistachio ice cream
  • 20 grams plain frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream
  • 50 grams  Strawberry Ice cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

How to make tempting Watermelon Ice Cream Cake


Note: All of the ice cream you are using must be a bit unfrozen before starting

  1. Take a spring-form pan. once the pistachio ice cream is soft, start distributing the small portions along the edge of the pan. using a spatula, spread the ice cream evenly around the edges. once this is done, place the pan in the freezer for few minutes. it is important that the outermost layer is frozen before going ahead.
  2. Follow the same procedure for the frozen yogurt or vanilla ice cream. spread a small portion alongside the green layer and place the pan in the freezer for few minutes again.
  3. Now, for the last layer, place the unfrozen strawberry ice cream into a bowl, add the chocolate chips and mix it well. now put the ice cream in the middle of the pan and spread it evenly. Garnish with a few more chocolate chips if needed. finally place the pan in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

Now release the ice cream cake from the spring-form pan and it's ready to it! Everyone will be delighted at the first look of the watermelon ice cream cake and will certainly want a piece of "watermelon"
